Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): 3 years B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
Fitter: Matric with ITI in Fitter Trade (minimum 2 years)
Boiler: 3 years B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
Technician Apprentice (Chemical): 3 years Diploma in Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Secretarial Assistant: 3 years B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.
Accountant: 3 years B.Com.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class XII pass
Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Class XII pass with Skill Certificate in Domestic Data Entry Operator

- Trade Apprentice – ITI/Data Entry Operator: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Technician Apprentice – Diploma: nats.education.gov.in
After registration, apply for apprentice positions at IOCL's Refineries Division portal: www.iocrefrecruit.in
Select the desired Refinery unit and complete the application form.
Upload necessary documents and submit the form.
