The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) invites applications for the recruitment of PGT, TGT, and PRT teachers in Army Public Schools across India. There are over 8,000 vacancies anticipated for regular and fixed-term teaching positions.

Post Details:
1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Educational Qualifications:
PGT: Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
TGT: Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
PRT: Graduation with minimum 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.Ed.

Age Criteria (as of 1 April 2021):
Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years (except for Delhi schools where it's 29 years).
Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years (with at least 5 years of teaching experience in the last 10 years).

Selection Process:
1. Online Screening Test – Objective type test conducted online.

3. Teaching Skill & Computer Proficiency Test


Exam Centers:
The exam will be conducted in various cities across India, with centers allotted based on candidate preferences.
